Easter a time when monsters
\nPartake of baby meat
\nNo compunction there at all
\nIt\u2019s seen as a treat
\nA tiny little baby
\nA lamb is how it\u2019s sold
\nA bouncing jolly lively soul
\nWorth its weight in gold<\/p>\n
To its mother but it\u2019s slaughtered
\nThroat cut, bled out, dead
\nIt was just elated
\nLying in the shed
\nLooking up at the farmer
\nThat jolly faced smiling chap
\nWho sprayed it\u2019s skin with killing paint
\nAnd it rapidly was led<\/p>\n
Off to make its maker
\nNo regrets at all
\nEaster was the lambing time
\nWe heard each whimpering call
\nBlubbering lamenting
\nMoist eyes seemingly
\nWhat a really pathetic time
\nDeplored by you and me<\/p>\n
It\u2019s poor taste that\u2019s for certain
\nArtless vulgarity
\nThe supermarkets push the stuff
\nThe indelicacy
\nBoorish impoliteness
