\nin a Baltimore basement
\nimagine the frustration
\nof such an event
\nimagine the fear a young
\npup would suffer
\nthe abuser gone off
\nsomewhere and hell bent
\non forgetting the soul
\nall alone in the dark place
\nwith thoughts of rejection
\nwith thoughts of great pain
\nand left in this cold dank
\nand desolate basement
\nto know in her heart
\nshe won’t see him again
\nthe man who abused her
\nand left her for dead
\nshould be apprehended
\nand like her unfed
\nno water and thrown
\nby himself in some cell
\nlet him experience
\nthat kind of hell.<\/p>\n

abuse clearly she has
\nsuffered for sure
\ntrauma that began when
\nhe slammed that door
\nnobody hears a dog
\nyelping away
\nin reality Molly
\noh dear did she pay<\/p>\n

she was in fact rescued
\nbut terribly ill
\nneglect hits a baby
\nhard and its will
\nwas broken for sure
\nand an infection took hold
\nand the poor baby died
\ndespite all the love
\nshe was given inside
\ndespite all the treatment
\nher heart just gave out
\nthe abuser who was he
\nits seems there is doubt
\nin every great city
\nall over this earth
\nare tales of this kind
\nthose who dont know the worth
\nof an animals love
\nand a humans desire
\nto reciprocate madly
\nand to never tire
\nof amazing love
\nfor an earthling
\nmay appear voiceless
\nbut the love it does bring
\nis priceless its tragic
\nscum sometimes buy
\nand ill treat and kill
\nand abandon and lie
\ntheir karma will
\ncatch up with them
\nyes one day
\nbut its so very sad
\nthat with their lives
