At Puget Sound
\nthere’s great respect for Orca’s
\nthe killer whale
\na truly wondrous soul
\nin the past
\nthere were some nasty
\nhappenings
\nand mothers and their babies
\nfelt the blast
\nand all that ugly spirit
\nfrom the humans
\nwho have it in their heads
\nthat wild one’s, must
\nbe captured and be made
\nto live their lives out
\nin concrete tanks
\nwhich to my mind is unjust<\/p>\n
this is a creature of the ocean
\na wild and loving family member
\nwho
\nmust hate to be split up
\nand live away from home
\nlet’s realise for gods sake how they do<\/p>\n
love the family members they exist with
\nand capturing them and taking some away
\nhurts the family,
\nit really causes them a lot of grief
\nthis is something somebody must say<\/p>\n
But the people of the world
\nmay see it somewhat differently
\nand its maybe not the world
\nof roaming free
\nteaching them to do tricks
\nfor an audience
\nand keeping them in dull captivity<\/p>\n
the cries of course so sensitive
\nthese earthlings
\ndesigned to know the freedom
\nand enjoy
\ntheir prowess and their hunting
\nand their family trips together
\nand the evils of containment must annoy<\/p>\n
all those years ago a pod
\nand a reunion
\nthe puget sound roundup
\nit was called
\na mother died and several babies
\nits was all hushed up
\nout to sea the bodies
\nall were hauled<\/p>\n
weighted down with rocks
\nthe hope that no one
\nwould ever realise
\nthe tragedy
\nbut it has come to light
\nthe lamentations
\nand those involved still
\npine amazingly<\/p>\n
The killer whale of course
\nhas an intelligence
\nin many ways its advanced
\ncompared to man
\nit has a sensitivity
\nmuch greater than we think
\nand this is where in fact
\nit all began<\/p>\n
the idea that an orca
\nwould be special, to put on, display
\nand do sweet tricks abroad
\nthe public would pay lots to see them leaping
\nand captured orca’s performing for reward<\/p>\n
and so around the world we see these sea parks
\nDolphins, Orca’s seriously they’re there
\nand life inside these wretched tanks
\ninstead of in the ocean where there is the notion
\nwe should share<\/p>\n
humility with them and stop this false world
\nimprisonment is what it really is
\ntaken from one’s family and paraded to the
\nhuman world
\nreally truthfully its not the biz<\/p>\n
and human beings ought to now wake up to this
\nboycott all these places from the start
\nremember the wild earthlings need the ocean
