Building works were all around us<\/p>\n
rubble everywhere<\/p>\n
plants were being pulled up<\/p>\n
heightening, my despair<\/p>\n
my master and mistress<\/p>\n
I hadn’t seen a while<\/p>\n
the joy that they had left with me<\/p>\n
was kind of out of style<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the house was dark<\/p>\n
and dismal<\/p>\n
Now \u00a0a noisy wreck<\/p>\n
windows out scaffolding up<\/p>\n
i was there to check<\/p>\n
yesterday it happened<\/p>\n
the digger at \u00a0my feet<\/p>\n
weeping i was weeping<\/p>\n
no more was i discreet<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the pain \u00a0was something awful<\/p>\n
a birch a weeping form<\/p>\n
i was getting battered<\/p>\n
it was an unholy storm<\/p>\n
crushed and cracked<\/p>\n
and bashed I was<\/p>\n
into smithereens<\/p>\n
mud and clods were everywhere<\/p>\n
attacked by the machines<\/p>\n
and so I lie lamenting<\/p>\n
rubble everywhere<\/p>\n
grief and sadness scattered<\/p>\n
Its a bed of pain I share<\/p>\n
dying in the hot sun<\/p>\n
hearing the lasting cries<\/p>\n
the persecuted Daffodils<\/p>\n
the \u00a0comfortless of lies<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
told to us regrettably<\/p>\n
whats to become of us all<\/p>\n
everywhere ,a bombsite<\/p>\n
and so many tears they fall<\/p>\n
a symmetry \u00a0of uglinessm<\/p>\n
is all thats left to see<\/p>\n
distortion and disfigurement<\/p>\n
an unshapliness there be<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
ravaged and unseemly<\/p>\n
its hatd to comprehend<\/p>\n
why this desolation<\/p>\n
where is our lovely friend<\/p>\n
she went off \u00a0in an ambulance<\/p>\n
but we do not know to where<\/p>\n
may be she has moved away<\/p>\n
and the new people<\/p>\n
Just don\u2019t care.<\/p>\n
