today i found a magpie<\/p>\n
looking the worse for wear<\/p>\n
clearly most uncomfortable<\/p>\n
his black and white<\/p>\n
stained with blood<\/p>\n
his painfulness \u00a0aware<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
was clearly on his mind<\/p>\n
an accident had befallen him<\/p>\n
his chivalry a bind<\/p>\n
lying there i picked him up<\/p>\n
wishing him god speed<\/p>\n
i could only feel affection<\/p>\n
and a hope he could succeed<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
magpie hospitalisations<\/p>\n
are not common place<\/p>\n
rest and care though i could \u00a0share<\/p>\n
and treat him with some grace<\/p>\n
tell my friends on facebook<\/p>\n
and hope someone will know<\/p>\n
how to help our little friend<\/p>\n
And really just show<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
due respect \u00a0and loving<\/p>\n
some rescue remedy<\/p>\n
some soft words keep him from the draught<\/p>\n
and give him love from me .<\/p>\n
