his black bib gives his game away<\/p>\n
masculinity, feels great<\/p>\n
in Autumn he may lose it<\/p>\n
his bib may up and go<\/p>\n
moulting does things for a man<\/p>\n
and in Winter it may show<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I can \u00a0see into the Rosemary<\/p>\n
being blasted by the \u00a0sun<\/p>\n
searching through its tangled roots<\/p>\n
to \u00a0watch \u00a0the Sparrows having fun<\/p>\n
amongst the woody \u00a0root stock<\/p>\n
above, \u00a0the \u00a0purple flowers<\/p>\n
there they play apparently<\/p>\n
and, \u00a0remain there for \u00a0hours<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
one wonders what they talk about<\/p>\n
whether the seeds are sweer<\/p>\n
whether they know i am watching them<\/p>\n
from my window seat<\/p>\n
the rugged woody undergrowth<\/p>\n
i see it everywhere<\/p>\n
Spring is boosting buds and growth<\/p>\n
and is warming up the air<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
a canopy of \u00a0sunlight blue<\/p>\n
the \u00a0crow boys on the Beech<\/p>\n
picking out their ebony clothes<\/p>\n
but still so out of reach<\/p>\n
the branches have a silvery glow<\/p>\n
into each lacey sphere<\/p>\n
wildlife is so close to \u00a0me<\/p>\n
it is \u00a0something to revere.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
daffodile in contrast<\/p>\n
upright to the sky<\/p>\n
behold the canny trumpets<\/p>\n
Their music on a high<\/p>\n
gold and white and salmon<\/p>\n
every blooming hue<\/p>\n
a backdrop for Springs wonderment<\/p>\n
the \u00a0Narcissi so true<\/p>\n
