it had stood thirty years<\/p>\n

about twenty feet high<\/p>\n
in the shade<\/p>\n
of a Copper Beech real strong and mighty<\/p>\n
two splendid souls on parade<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
five years or so \u00a0ago<\/p>\n
someone<\/p>\n
not an arbourist sadly<\/p>\n
came by<\/p>\n
and cut off some branches<\/p>\n
all done willy nilly alas<\/p>\n
and the tree it was obviously weakened<\/p>\n
the \u00a0workman abundantly crass<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
since \u00a0then it has slowly recovered<\/p>\n
it has struggled through the seasons and I<\/p>\n
could feel its pain it had taken the strain<\/p>\n
but thankfully it didnt die<\/p>\n
it retained \u00a0its leaves every season<\/p>\n
witheld its nutrients \u00a0and<\/p>\n
its called marscense \u00a0its reliance it builds<\/p>\n
strength and resistance<\/p>\n
to heighten \u00a0its yields<\/p>\n
if we know then we do understand.<\/p>\n
