something you hate<\/p>\n

its exhausting assessing one’s fate<\/p>\n

when C comes to see<\/p>\n

we communicate, She<\/p>\n

feels, \u00a0 she’s a mother<\/p>\n

really like no other<\/p>\n

she never steals<\/p>\n

or conceals<\/p>\n

she reveals<\/p>\n

and she heals<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

i nuzzled warmly<\/p>\n

and she responds avidly<\/p>\n

a breath of life<\/p>\n

a warm \u00a0embrace<\/p>\n

A calming tone<\/p>\n

in which to base<\/p>\n

a gentle nudge<\/p>\n

i dare not budge<\/p>\n

for she knows why<\/p>\n

i was saying goodbye<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

she \u00a0felt deep down<\/p>\n

she felt my pain<\/p>\n

she absorbed my spirited<\/p>\n

need to gain<\/p>\n

her trust, \u00a0her strength<\/p>\n

which she freely shared<\/p>\n

when fewer<\/p>\n

human beings cared.<\/p>\n
