A great respect for their animals<\/p>\n
their villages remote<\/p>\n
simplicity is paramount<\/p>\n
Creatively they \u00a0note<\/p>\n

sheep and goats<\/p>\n
and Morani worms<\/p>\n
Help make their dream come true<\/p>\n
their hair, their skin, they<\/p>\n
douse in okra stone and butter
\na way<\/p>\n
of conditioning themselves<\/p>\n
with an \u00a0orange hue<\/p>\n
and with herbs smoked<\/p>\n
for that scent<\/p>\n
Gives sheen and lustre<\/p>\n
And the eye<\/p>\n
finds its true content<\/p>\n

Their integrity is everything<\/p>\n
their totality we see<\/p>\n
the women fetching water<\/p>\n
fetching firewood and they be<\/p>\n
simply cooking porridge<\/p>\n
and Morani worms \u00a0and they<\/p>\n
are extra happy with their lot<\/p>\n
on any given day<\/p>\n

Theres a wholeness<\/p>\n
and an entirety<\/p>\n
about their way of life<\/p>\n
drowning in the colours<\/p>\n
compounded by the strife<\/p>\n
of moving camp<\/p>\n
the need to be<\/p>\n
nomadic through and through<\/p>\n
an orderliness about them<\/p>\n
and unbroken order too<\/p>\n
Its their simplicity<\/p>\n
that grabs us<\/p>\n
pathfinders if you will<\/p>\n
the magic of the countryside<\/p>\n
the different hues that spill<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
and change with light and shade<\/p>\n
the very soul of Africa,here<\/p>\n
a foretaste for their \u00a0journeys<\/p>\n
i leave behind a tear<\/p>\n
a constancy of \u00a0what is<\/p>\n
Nature that abounds<\/p>\n
peculiar and irregular<\/p>\n
coupled with the sounds<\/p>\n
haunting melancholic<\/p>\n
the individual they<\/p>\n
shine with such emotion<\/p>\n
at the back end of each day.<\/p>\n
