elephants are social creatures<\/p>\n
family is their thing<\/p>\n
solitary prisons<\/p>\n
all that will ever bring<\/p>\n
is sadness and the feeling<\/p>\n
that captivity<\/p>\n
is wrong on all counts<\/p>\n
aiding and \u00a0abetting<\/p>\n
cruelty<\/p>\n

its good that laws are changing<\/p>\n
lockdown is the thing<\/p>\n
it leads to mental illness<\/p>\n
control its how they sling<\/p>\n
their vile demands on animals<\/p>\n
Who should and would be wild<\/p>\n

Elephants now in zoo\u2019s<\/p>\n
will live their lives sadly<\/p>\n
but there will not be new ones coming<\/p>\n

leave them in their birth place<\/p>\n

enclosures caged and sterile<\/p>\n
is for them a hell<\/p>\n
most die of a broken heart<\/p>\n
so human beings can<\/p>\n
gawp at them in purgatory<\/p>\n
