Sensitive and motherly<\/p>\n
the great apes I adore<\/p>\n
the person of the forest<\/p>\n
Orangutan \u00a0whats more<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
loving to the point of no return<\/p>\n
their quivering soul<\/p>\n
arborial their rigour<\/p>\n
completely in control<\/p>\n
slow movers in the canopy<\/p>\n
their great long arms exceed<\/p>\n
their body length<\/p>\n
their high wire acts<\/p>\n
their deep feeling to succeed<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
truly wonderful mothers<\/p>\n
who teach their babies<\/p>\n
to<\/p>\n
live and love and care for<\/p>\n
everything they do<\/p>\n
all the fruits imaginable<\/p>\n
like the durian, sublime<\/p>\n
some humans will not partake<\/p>\n
but I do, but I cannot climb<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the vibrance of the forest<\/p>\n
a cacophony \u00a0of sound<\/p>\n
minstrels really everywhere<\/p>\n
up high and on the ground<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
its a magical grove of \u00a0greenery<\/p>\n
a flush of fruit so sweet<\/p>\n
enthralling just to \u00a0be among<\/p>\n
A responsive place to meet<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
every kind of creature<\/p>\n
rainbow colours \u00a0be<\/p>\n
So arresting \u00a0to the eye<\/p>\n
by the \u00a0truthful constancy<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Orangutans so slowly<\/p>\n
Swing broadly from tree to tree<\/p>\n
enlivened by the rich warm air<\/p>\n
that inspires them powerfully<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The tragedy are bunters<\/p>\n
they make an easy kill<\/p>\n
and are very often eaten<\/p>\n
and their babies sold<\/p>\n
its a chill<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
wind that blows when the babies<\/p>\n
become pets \u00a0as they do<\/p>\n
ignorance is manifest<\/p>\n
the hunter clueless to<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the need to stay with \u00a0its mother<\/p>\n
who teaches it all it knows<\/p>\n
pet orangutans \u00a0are a wasted source<\/p>\n
and honestly still pose<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Unbelievable \u00a0torture<\/p>\n
And a life \u00a0committed to<\/p>\n
a human cage forever<\/p>\n
locked down \u00a0a prisoner who<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
will then be trained by humans<\/p>\n
will lose their mentality<\/p>\n
stolen from the \u00a0wildness<\/p>\n
and never again be free<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the harshness of that moment<\/p>\n
the harassment they feel<\/p>\n
the loathsomeness the purgatory<\/p>\n
its very very real<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the babies feel bad factor<\/p>\n
dissidents alas<\/p>\n
suffering intensely<\/p>\n
and many now enmasse<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Dr Birute \u00a0took the challenge on<\/p>\n
to give her life and she<\/p>\n
stood to gain a great respect<\/p>\n
rejoicing constantly<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
retraining the babies<\/p>\n
being a mum again<\/p>\n
her radiance so special<\/p>\n
a beautiful refrain<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
so many families perish<\/p>\n
for Palm Oil we have seen<\/p>\n
the trees have all been squandered<\/p>\n
torn down , they have n<\/p>\n
been<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Replanted with Palm oil<\/p>\n
a cash crop \u00a0a gargoyle<\/p>\n
Of ugliness \u00a0and stressfulness<\/p>\n
and indigenous toil<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
all for oil a plenty<\/p>\n
so much life be lost<\/p>\n
behold the emerald forest<\/p>\n
with its miracles all lost<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Inlove \u00a0the family Orangutans<\/p>\n
so gentle yet so strong<\/p>\n
they nest up in the canopy<\/p>\n
in the jungle they belong<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
immensely intelligent<\/p>\n
and affectionate as well<\/p>\n
what man has done to the animals<\/p>\n
proves he was born in HELL?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
