City folk and farmers
\nAre genuinely ignorant
\nWhen it comes to Dingoes
\nWild souls that have been
\nOn the rich red soul for years
\nUp to say 5000
\nLong before the white man
\nWith his cattle and his fears<\/p>\n
Therefore they are Indigenous
\nDesigned that way so they
\nCan take advantage of the climate
\nAnd so do everyday
\nMan kind puts up fences
\nCalls these souls Wild dogs
\nJust ignorance personified
\nWith typical dialogues
\nCalling forth the evil
\nAnd the irreverence thats seen
\nThey cannot wait to shoot them
\nBasically they are mean<\/p>\n
I mean they are farmers after all
\nWildness they don\u2019t know
\nThey seldom camp out in the bush
\nIts only when dogs show
\nUp around their pasture
\nThe guns come out and they
\nAre ready to claim a bounty or two
\nIts just their way<\/p>\n
Wholly bloody hopeless
\nLike fences everywhere
\nCattle and sheep are their money spinners
\nAnd Dingoes their despair
\nAgain its because they are hopeless
\nOut of touch with God
\nWho puts the Dingo on this earth
\nBut they don\u2019t give a sod<\/p>\n
Sone work life in packs
\nOthers remain alone
\nRabbits Reptiles fish
\nAnd wombats, and of course its known
\nKangaroos feral goats, pigs
\nThey have been around
\nThey feature in cave paintings
\nTheir whereabout is sound<\/p>\n
The government wants to eradicate
\nFarmers they do to
\nEveryone is after Dingos
\nUnsure of what to do
\nForgetting they have a purpose
\nThat they are part of life
\nMore so than arrogant ranchers
\nWho bring a lot of strife<\/p>\n
To the bushlands to the Aboriginies
\nAnd of course to the kangaroo
\nAnd the Koala all the wild souls
\nHuman beings do
\nFuck up they are good at that
\nAs ignorant as sin
\nSpoilers trappers hunters
\nWho only want to win<\/p>\n
So the Dingo gets a bad deal
\nBut manages still to be
\nOut there kicking butt a bit
\nAlways wild and free
\nTenacious and his state of wonder
\nClearly on his mind
