My history is permeated by the
\nLack of care
\nAnd The need to find my angel
\nShe had to be somewhere
\nAllowed to roam the roads
\nAround Berkhamsted everyday
\nTo run the gauntlet as it were
\nA pretty dangerous way
\nAcross the main street
\nDown the towpath
\nWhere of course they tried
\nSeveral times to drown me
\nThe drunken yobs, denied
\nThe chance of seeing me floating
\nUpside down wet through
\nI was able to scramble out
\nWhich of course was true<\/p>\n
My so called carer she didn\u2019t care
\nIt was never home for me
\nShe fed me when she remembered
\nBut it was always temporary
\nMy dreams whenever sleep prevailed
\nWas to find the lady who
\nKnew of dragons and totems
\nWith a conscience that was true
\nI knew that she was out there
\nHer vibrations I could feel
\nAnd made my way to Waitrose
\nWhere her aura was for real<\/p>\n
Everyday I went there
\nIt was quite a way
\nThe high street and the towpath
\nAnd i felt She knew the Fae
\nThought transference
\nIt was out there
\nShe was out there
\nI was sure
\nLots of people talked to me
\nOutside Waitrose door<\/p>\n
I was looking for her, her lochs of raven hair
\nAnd The enchantment in her eyes
\nThe magic of her being
\nShe all seeing
\nShe so wise
\nShe rode on a black dragon
\nOf wizardry she knew
\nAnd The cauldron and the candle
\nWhere she made her witches brew.<\/p>\n
Then one day it was late on
\nHer vehicle I saw
\nIt had to be that day
\nWhen she opened up her door
\nI got the urge to jump in
\nAnd I was going to stay
\nI had found her! end of story
\nAnd she would never get away<\/p>\n
No more high streets
\nNo more towpaths
\nYobbo\u2019s wanting, to drown me
\nCare would come in cauldron fulls
\nThe fields and woods would be
\nMy hunting grounds
\nForever,
\nthe totem and the Hare
\nThe dragon and the path of lights
\nAnd the windows that I share<\/p>\n
Topped with the rainbow crystal
\nAnd the birds who feed outside
\nI patrol the cottage
\nAnd it gives me so much pride
\nTo lay with her and snuggle
\nWe each share warmth its true
\nAnd sharing the otherwordly
\nGifts
\nthat we are prone to do.<\/p>\n
I brought her little presents
\nAnd left them on the floor
\nI think she knows I love her
\nSo don\u2019t need to anymore
\nWhen I dream I dream of her
\nAnd she takes me everywhere
\nTo the neolithic standing stones
\nAnd the castles in the air<\/p>\n
Circles ribbons many shapes
\nFill the night where we
\nJetster and the lady walk
\nOur invisibility
\nIs wonder working
\nThrough the darkness
\nWhere little owls can be
\nIn the living undergrowth
