Botswana\u2019s gifted Elephants
\nHave reached a new high noon
\nThe government are clearly
\nUtterly out of tune
\nWith the world over its Elephants
\nDenying them the right
\nTo live in Peace and harmony
\nWithout the need to fight.
\nThese vile and rotten hunters
\nAre killers who presume
\nThat animals are there to kill
\nCreating so much doom<\/p>\n
Its all just greed and ignorance
\nSelfish through and through
\nBounty HUNTING criminals
\nWith nothing better to do
\nThan kill these majestic beings
\nThese socially active souls
\nKilling someones parents
\nThe most evil of goals<\/p>\n
Selling lives just that that
\nGrief and sinfulness
\nJust because somebody wants to hunt
\nAnd Cause so much stress
\nTo familiess and to herds a living
\nWhere their god had placed
\nJust sold off for money
\nThose who need the taste<\/p>\n
Of sweat and blood and
\nAggravation of unjustifiable stress
\nSo Botswana banks blood money
\nAnd doesnt care a less
\nSo the hunting men
\nGet off on seeing Elephantx
\nIn pain
\nand others struck by the improbity
\nWho will never breathe again<\/p>\n
How mean how very nasty
\nHow discriminatory
\nHow wilful so much disrespect
\nSuch vile treachery
\nThe irreverence of a being
\nStolen from their child
\nThe mortification
\nThey feel so defiled<\/p>\n
And its all done for money
\nLife taken just like that
\nWickedness and ungodliness
\nAnd they do not bat
\nAn eyelid
\nA baby pining
\nLong and hard dear friends
\nLives cut short the teaching
\nFor that is where it ends<\/p>\n
A mother takes the bullets
\nAnd falls down misunderstood
\nThe villain pulled the trigger
\nHe pays and he feels good
\nTo murder a mother in cold blood
\nYes that is what he\u2019s done
\nThe outlawry and the grossness
\nIts what he calls great fun<\/p>\n
She is warm still but gone forever
\nTears come thick and fast
\nA mother a great miracle of life
\nHer soul was cast
\nOut to be the victim
\nHer honour sold for cash
\nIn some salascious pocket
\nWatch her great body crash<\/p>\n
Down into the dust
\nHunters looking on
\nThey used their hard earned money
\nAnd another life is gone
\nCould be another fifty years
\nLost fir that hour of fun
\nThe cost of life to the mother
\nTorn down in the sun<\/p>\n
Her family they will miss her
\nWill pine for her they will
\nAnd it was down to Botswana
\nWho allowed the blood to spill
\nSacrificial lambs oh dear
\nMy heart is stricken too
\nThe tusks no doubt sold off
