{"id":50369,"date":"2021-03-16T13:48:27","date_gmt":"2021-03-16T13:48:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/?p=50369"},"modified":"2021-03-16T18:11:51","modified_gmt":"2021-03-16T18:11:51","slug":"yulin-in-guangxi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/2021\/03\/yulin-in-guangxi\/","title":{"rendered":"Yulin in Guangxi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hatred you can feel it<br \/>\nCut it with a knife<br \/>\nThe aura of aversion<br \/>\nAnd, ending of life<br \/>\nWhich the Chinese call<br \/>\nA festival<br \/>\nA Summer Solstice meal<br \/>\nLychees and dead dog flesh<br \/>\nThats what they reveal<\/p>\n<p>Thousands of stolen<br \/>\nDogs and street dogs<br \/>\nAre caught<br \/>\nBundled into cages<br \/>\nHostility is sought<br \/>\nScowling operatives<br \/>\nButchery<br \/>\nWrath and fear<br \/>\nAll feel<br \/>\nGrowling wailing pining<br \/>\nTheir lamentation real<\/p>\n<p>Cussedness and bitchiness<br \/>\nStingy selfish sods<br \/>\nWith all the worst intentions<br \/>\nClearly think they are gods<br \/>\nAble to take sweet lives away<br \/>\nAs painfully as they can<br \/>\nMaking their excuses<br \/>\nBefore they reach the pan<\/p>\n<p>Torturing the living<br \/>\nTenderises meat<br \/>\nBurning them and harming<br \/>\nThem<br \/>\nIts when you get the treat<br \/>\nThat everyone is after<br \/>\nA healing tonic too<br \/>\nEat with the sweet lychees<br \/>\nThe whole bowl good for you<\/p>\n<p>Yulin is a horrid place<br \/>\nA festival to where<br \/>\nOnly evil hearted folk<br \/>\nWould, ever go there<br \/>\nMany dogs are rabid<br \/>\nFrom living in the street<br \/>\nOn scraps and of course carrion<br \/>\nThey just eat any meat<\/p>\n<p>Flyblown full of maggots<br \/>\nExcrements as well<br \/>\nDrugged up experimentation<br \/>\nEven them they sell<br \/>\nThe brutality behind closed doors<br \/>\nIll-wishing and ill-willed<br \/>\nDisobliging tyrannical<br \/>\nThe saddest thing blood spilled<\/p>\n<p>In place to protect the innocent<br \/>\nAnd innocent they be<br \/>\nThey might have been somebodys pet<br \/>\nStolen horribly<br \/>\nOne minute being cuddled<br \/>\nThe next kicked to the floor<br \/>\nBeaten  burnt and tortured<br \/>\nReally more and more<\/p>\n<p>Yulin is a evil place<br \/>\nThe festival of sin<br \/>\nWhere wrongdoers and villains go<br \/>\nAnd you can hear the din<br \/>\nBehind the doors<br \/>\nThe killing floors<br \/>\nThe butchery the blood<br \/>\nThe mucus and the awful screams<br \/>\nAnd each dreadful thud<\/p>\n<p>As bodies are thrown everywhere<br \/>\nChopped in boiling vats<br \/>\nEverywhere is rotten<br \/>\nThe places filled with rats<br \/>\nRoaches comes to rumble<br \/>\nIts unfitting and its wrong<br \/>\nIn this present day and age<br \/>\nThis shit hole cannot belong<\/p>\n<p>And we hear the animals  are often starved<br \/>\nBefore<br \/>\nAnd then their mouths forced open<br \/>\nAnd the hosepipe  and some more<br \/>\nWater fills their bodies up<br \/>\nMore weight so to say<br \/>\nThey then get off  the butchers<br \/>\nSold by weight a con all day<\/p>\n<p>No honour among these traders<br \/>\nAll out to make a killing<br \/>\nThey would sell their mother<br \/>\nFor an extra shilling<br \/>\nThrow in a three legged dog<br \/>\nSmothered in mange and fleas<br \/>\nCook the whole lot in a pot<br \/>\nAnd Serve with sweet lychees<\/p>\n<p>The contempt for diners<br \/>\nWhose judgement is at odds<br \/>\nWho come to eat such scant respect<br \/>\nWhere are all their Gods<br \/>\nWhere are all their souls and hearts<br \/>\nWhat gives them the right<br \/>\nTo torture and to eat dead dogs<br \/>\nThat just exude pure light<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hatred you can feel it Cut it with a knife The aura of aversion And, ending of life Which the Chinese call A festival A Summer Solstice meal Lychees and dead dog flesh Thats what they reveal Thousands of stolen &hellip;
