Theres a sickness emanating

\nOrcas and Dolphins with your meal
\nBeluga\u2019s sea lions all who dream
\nOf wildness and their thing
\nAnd are forced to be the entertainment
\nIts a bit like living bling<\/p>\n
Prisoners in limbo
\nTheir innocence we\u2019ve stole
\nIn some ways we are declining
\nEndangering their soul
\nUnescorted unsupported
\nIn a whirlpool so to say
\nA transaction in reaction
\nEvery hour of every day<\/p>\n
For us its our adversity
\nOur privilege no more
\nRestricted cramped and hampered
\nIn custody for sure
\nWatched by all and sundry
\nOur mental state on show
\nSome appear enchanted
\nRelieved to watch the flow<\/p>\n
Sitting eating animals
\nElation at their core
\nWe are the amusement
\nThe diversion and whats more
\nThey revel in our sadness
\nThe tediousness that we
\nSuffer being gawped at
\nIn our weird monotony<\/p>\n
For us its artificial
\nProsaic and banal
\nThe chemicals disturbing
\nPlays havoc with morale
\nMany a forbidding countenance,
\nStaring at us, we
\nNote the fading beauty
\nAnd the hideosity<\/p>\n
Its inelegant and boorish
\nNo other life to share
\nJust a lot of painted surfaces
\nHuman beings arn\u2019t aware
\nThey imagine in our faces
\nWe are joyous perhaps we smile
\nOur insouciance they miss that
\nAnd really how they rile<\/p>\n
Creating such irreverence
\nAs outcasts we are sad
\nBeing here is demeaning
\nHumiliated add
\nThat to all the arrogance
\nWhat is their tyranny
\nWe become performers
