Living alone takes a whole
\nLot of soul
\nAway from a life form
\nPerhaps a great hole
\nIn what is expected
\nAnd the unforseen
\nAnimals think and animals glean
\nSo much from their
\nEnvironments and from the way
\nThey are housed and looked after
\nYES everyday
\nThey are mindful of
\nmemories
\nAnd it is true
\nA solitary lifestyle
\nIs a bolt from the blue
\nUnbargained for really
\nCaught on the hop
\nFrustration a life blighted
\nlife then can flop<\/p>\n
Loneliness sets in
\nNothing to do
\nNo one to speak with
\nIt really is true
\nDespite the expense
\nA friend in need
\nMakes for a better life
\nWhere Both will succeed<\/p>\n
On a far greater footing
\nIts a far safer plan
\nProvidence really
\nAn equal life span
\nHorses for courses
\nEssence and meaning
\nThere is a relevance
\nSurely a leaning<\/p>\n
A great relationship
\nOtherwise they
\nFace a great loneliness
\nAnd it will play
\nOn their psyche behaviourally
\nIt is so true
\nTime spent on one\u2019s own
\nIs just not good for you<\/p>\n
A comrade a friend
\nSomeone to share
\nThe long hours of boredom
\nThat often is there
\nTogetherness surely makes
\nOne aware
\nWith a friend in the paddock
\nTo breathe the same air
\nSomeone to fall back on
\nSomeone who cares
\nTo chat and to bolster
