Tears amongst the hay
\nThe last straw so to say
\nThey stole her calf away
\nOn what was the saddest day<\/p>\n
On dairy farms we see
\nThe calves unfortunately
\nUnwanted tossed away
\nSlaughtered so to say<\/p>\n
The milk is what is used
\nSo the babies are abused
\nHearts are very small
\nAnd this has become the rule<\/p>\n
Kidnap babies taken
\nMothers pine and cry
\nIt really is a frantic time
\nWith mothers asking why<\/p>\n
It is its double crossing
\nIts wavering and wrong
\nAfterall her baby
\nOf course it does belong<\/p>\n
With her and her nutrition
\nAnd seeing it led away
\nTo the slaughterhouse
\nIs awful and you can hear how it does play<\/p>\n
The mother whines her heart out
\nIts uncanny how she cries
\nIt has happened all before
\nAnd she knows that her baby dies<\/p>\n
Full on lamentation
\nTeardrops everywhere
\nThe dairy is an ugly place
\nAnd nothing there is fair<\/p>\n
When I was a child myself
\nDairies painted white
\nYou kind of imagined a beautiful place
\nBut what goes on out of sight<\/p>\n
Is anything but beautiful
\nIts rape and torture and pain
\nKidnap heartache agony
