\nAnd commercial fishing sees
\nConflict and improbity
\nAnd what is dishonesty
\nThe Sea Birds like the Albatross
\nEndangered and At risk
\nAre being slaughtered daily
\nIn the killing fields
\nDeath\u2019s brisk<\/p>\n
Out there on the ocean
\nIts perilous, the sea
\nIs fraught with every kind of
\nFright, the weather menacingly
\nTips the scales and threatens
\nAll purposeful desire
\nAt filling up the ocean holds
\nAnd pulling in the wire<\/p>\n
Long lining for Tuna
\nAnd Swordfish it creates
\nA great deal of pressure
\nAll working at rates
\nOf knots and up against it
\nThe weather and the swell
\nAnd they have an undertaking
\nReally to do things well
\nIts true they are laying traps
\nFor 40 miles or so
\nBaited hooked and waiting
\nFor whats swimming down below
\nReally massive Swordfish
\nAnd Tuna coming too
\nAnd there appears an inclination
\nTo cheat thats what some do<\/p>\n
Cutting beaks of Sea birds
\nWho live in the terrain
\nWith as much right on this gods earth
\nTo share, it is insane
\nOf fishermen to cut off their beaks
\nAnd toss them there to die
\nSlowly, painfully tragically
\nThe endangered from the sky<\/p>\n
Its misuse of equipment
\nIts warlike and its wrong
\nIts absolutely evil
\nIt just does not belong
\nIn any sphere or ethic
\nIts violence to the core
\nA bludgeoning diplomacy
\nBased on blood and gore
\nIts selfish and its lacking
\nIn understanding where
\nSo much depends on sharing
\nAnd truefully to care
\nFor each other and for wildness
\nAvarice won\u2019t do
\nMurder on the high seas
\nI have no wish to queue
\nIn line behind the felons
\nThe half hearted uninspired
\nTheir harassment and their stalking
\nAll viciously hard wired<\/p>\n
These spiteful callous ruffians
\nFor that is all they are
\nThey have courage and they sacrifice
\nTheir humanity and scar
\nThe planet and its children
\nTheir ill will it clearly does
\nBring upon the industry
\nA truly abusive buzz<\/p>\n
The sea birds are up against it
\nThey are out there in the wild
\nUp against the God forces
\nConstantly defiled
\nReduced to weakened infants
\nIn strong winds and in tide
\nJustice may seem wanting
\nAnd improper down inside
\nBy-catch is a problem
\nWith 40 miles of hooks
\nFor me it is disgraceful
\nAnd thats exactly how it looks<\/p>\n
All of GODS wild forces
\nCompeting for their fair
\nShould not be murdered by us
\nWe should be more aware
\nSetting out to go criminal
\nIs totally unjust
\nNobody gets my sympathy
\nOnly mean disgust<\/p>\n
The cruelty is savage
\nThe agony the pain
\nThe frustration of losing one\u2019s beak
\nFills me with disdain
\nFishermen you bring down upon you
\nThe inexcusability
\nEvery kind of grievance
\nThat there could ever be
\nThese are endangered species
\nSo your profitability
\nIs waging war and skirmish
\nWith Karma and illegitimacy<\/p>\n
Its such woeful behaviour
\nYour duty is to be
\nBounden to the environments
\nWhich in your case is the sea
\nUnwilling then to safeguard
\nAnd respect the wondrous birds
\nIs irreverence dishonour
\nAnd really there are no words<\/p>\n
To describe what you are capable of
\nThroughout their family tree
\nPartners wiped out waiting
\nThe whole family
\nLost down to your selfishness
\nYour very short sighted ways
\nScant respect for the living
\nHonestly it plays<\/p>\n
Sharply into your futures
\nYour loftiness won\u2019t do
\nIts opportunism and artfulness
\nThis much is coming through
\nJust concern your selves
\nWith the sea birds with the fish
\nAnd by catch they
\nAll were given life by God
\nAnd you arses took away<\/p>\n
The faith the troth the constancy
\nYes you took it all
\nThe ocean and the wayward skies
\nThe ambitions that you call
\nOut when killing wild birds
\nIn your unworthy way
\nRemember they are innocent
\nBut still you made them pay<\/p>\n
And all of this for the TUNA, SWORD FISH and Halibut.
\nAnd presumably all the by-catch <\/p>\n
