\nA life itself a miracle
\nWho just wanted to be part
\nOf someone\u2019s special family
\nAn animal, I know
\nA member of the feline tribe
\nHaving to undergo
\nCruelty and torment
\nIn its unfallen state
\nTo find oneself a prisoner
\nImagining one\u2019s fate
\nIn the hands of a person
\nWhose callousness we felt
\nVindictive for no reason
\nHow its cards were dealt<\/p>\n
The fear would be enormous
\nA nauseating sense
\nThe domineering nature
\nWhere everything feels tense
\nChastised so aggressively
\nAnd violated so
\nSprayed with paint
\nUnder restraint
\nAnd butchered as we know
\nMartyrized with evilness
\nWhat a way to die
\nBeing in a state of grace
\nLetting one\u2019s soul fly
\nOutwards on its hapless journey
\nMangled and extreme
\nPaying the ultimate penalty
\nWith an eternal scream<\/p>\n
That enters every thought
\nThat anybody anywhere
\nHears when reading what transpired
\nThat forceful dark despair
\nBlameless and unspotted
\nBastet will create
\nA bubble of protection
\nAnd no doubt did await
\nThe poor soul at the
\nRainbow Bridge
\nIn silent repose
\nWho paid the ultimate penalty
\nAnd with others no doubt knows
\nThose horrid of last moments
\nIn his vice like grip
\nThe adrenaline rush revealing
\nThat final painful slip
\nInto quiet unconsciousness
\nYes, forever lost
\nThe Rainbow Bridge its brightness
\nEssex sadly cost
\nA lot of real emotion
\nOf a true degree
