Who are these people
\nset on killing wildlife?
\nwhat sense is there
\nin doing it anyway
\nthe fact they have a rifle
\nor a crossbow
\ndoesn’t mean you’d use it
\neveryday
\nand if you have so much
\nsophistication
\nsurely you’d see
\na collar, anyway
\nyour killing for the
\nsake of it
\nit seems to me,
\na man who kids himself
\nthat he’s a hunter
\npurely looks at wild life really for
\nhis intent on killing
\nhe would do it for a shilling
\nits something in his head
\nthat sparks a war
\nbetween his sane accomplishments
\nand slaughter
\ndown the sights what is it
\nthat he sees
\nan innocent soul a foraging
\nfor food to feed its gut
\nor the enemy now skulking
\nin the trees<\/p>\n
for anyone to take aim
\non a wild soul
\nin the forest for a reason
\njust to blow, its life away
\nis not a work of innocence
\nits more
\nto do with malice
\nwith the hurt and on this basis
\nthe foray
\ninto what is after all, the creatures
\nterritory
\nborn and raised and clearly
\nthere to feed
\nto take them out really so
\naggressively
\nto me smacks of an imbalance
\nand in a nutshell where do
\nsuch acts lead
\ndeath is death
\nan innocent has paid with theirs
\nthey were where they live
\nthere was no crime
\nthe hunter went and hid
\nand in that moment lifts his lid
\nand kills or maims
\na soul
\nand will serve time<\/p>\n
not in some dark dungeon
\nnot incarcerated in some cell
\nbut in the minds of
\nthose who love the creatures
\nhunters murder
\nand in etheric channels
\nI hear tell
\nwhere karma builds
\nextensively and payments
\nare soon sought
\nfrom those who share
\nfrustration and turn it
