Almost every living creature
\nin the world today
\nChina’s got its eyes on them
\nand seems not prepared to play
\nfair and this encourages
\npoaching and we
\nsee
\nbig black market operatives
\nand criminality
\nthe seriousness of sourcing
\nmaterials today
\nfrom dwindling numbers of animals
\nmeans there’s a price to pay
\nmyths clearly exist with certain
\nbody parts and they
\nare often from the rarer souls
\nwild animals in decline
\nprotected in vast game reserves
\nwhere their lives are on the line
\nWith China’s growing population
\ngaining a foothold
\nmore of them are affluent
\nand feel the need to hold
\nonto TCM
\nwhich sadly does encompass much
\nherbal and animal content
\nand its grown a lot as such
\nThe Rhinoceros, the Tiger
\nThe Pangolin these three
\nare really being slaughtered
\nand the numbers left now be
\nworrying
\nits frightening each sacrificial lamb
\nbeing murdered in the field
\nnow at ad nauseam<\/p>\n
elephants now for their skin
\nmonkeys for their head
\nsnakes to make souls stronger
\nturtles, its been said
\nincreases ones longevity
\nsea horses now so few
\ndeer antlers,and dog penises
\nevery point of view
\nand almost every animal
\nthats still alive today
\nthe Chinese want some part of it
\nand are prepared to pay<\/p>\n
and this creates some mayhem
\nwhich reaches all the way
\nto where the animals come from
\nand local men may play
\na part they want to make some cash
\nfor they are really poor
\nand the market thus appeals to them
\nand now we have a war<\/p>\n
between the local hoodlums
\nthe big black market gangs
\nthe criminals on both continents
\nwhich is where the problem hangs
\nanimal rights and C I T E S
\nand many more besides
\nare battling to save them
\nand on the lot this rides<\/p>\n
bears, insects and monkeys
\nits as long as all our arms
\nevery single creature
\nis at risk, they have no qualms
\nthey trap, they kill, they break the law
\nits all about the hard cash
\nand its hard to see how this can stop
\nwhen so many are so brash<\/p>\n
But in Africa and India
\nthe victims we all see
\nsawn off horns and bloodied hulks
\nbabies too who be
\nmurdered by these rotten gangs
\nwho face death well prepared
\nthey seem to be so organised
\nand seemingly not scared<\/p>\n
but sadly there’s corruption
\nwith the cash sloshing about
\nGovernment people, officials
\nyea, people with clout
\nprepared to turn a blind eye
\nto the goings on, of some
\nthe official bags
\nin their shiny jags
\nand the assorted scum<\/p>\n
so what is going to happen
\nChina has the power
\nTCM is growing
\nalmost on the hour
\nthere’s not a lot of money
\naround to save these souls
\nits mostly down to charities
\nwho take on all these roles<\/p>\n
so we shall have to watch this space
\nand use the ether well
\nhopefully we can open eyes
\nand show these fiends from Hell
\nthat really the wild animals
\nare what we need to see
\nreally alive and kicking
