I want you to try and imagine
\nWhat its like for the great whales
\nTo be
\nSharing their oceans with plastics
\nClogging us up tragically
\nThe beaches are scattered with
\nAll sorts
\nIgnorance With a capital I
\nThis poor sperm whale
\nCaught in a net that became
\nHis grave though he really did try
\nAnd struggle like mad to get out of there
\nThe coastguard was on hand as well
\nAll those Plastic bags in his stomach
\nJust tossed away
\nBy the so many selfish
\nThere in the spray
\nBobbing along a hindrance to all
\nAnd an obstruction in his gut wall<\/p>\n
This poor soul in agony
\nLover of life
\nDied in a crescendo of such
\nUtter strife
\nCaught up in the moment
\nStruggling hard
\nAnd with all of that plastic inside
\nWhich had scarred
\nHis soul and his feelings
\nFatigued and lost
\nWhen life was leaving him
\nHis regrets how they had cost
\nHis honest euphoria
\nOf the ocean his home
\nOf the places he loved
\nAnd where he did roam<\/p>\n
Of the few friends he knew
\nAnd loved like family
\nCaught up in this maelstrom
\nOf netting that he
\nKnew was Hurting his skin
\nAs he struggled to free
\nHimself from the rigors
\nAnd mortally
\nHe Perished alone
\nAt The Cape of Milazzo
\nA most beautiful spot
\nHis tears fuelled the tide
\nSea Shepherd remembered
\nAnd used his name
\nThat beautiful soul
\nAn Aeolian flame<\/p>\n
His bones and the net were Collected by Camelo Isgro who placed them
