Just 6% hunt in the great USA
\nthey stand up for cruelty, everyday
\nin fact buying into the gun lobby lot
\nbuying their guns and their bows
\nwell they’ve got a sort of direction
\nthe add on’s they buy, I suppose
\ncreate a fair market and that’s
\nwhy these men
\nslaughter and kill,but honestly when
\nin a compassionate world will the others say no
\nand safeguard the wild folk where ere they go
\nfor, for people with guns to kill as they please
\nmeans they really can’t see the wood from the trees
\nhabitat loss hurts us all in the end
\nits a right that the rest of us must now defend
\nits a very sick pastime to hunt and to kill
\nother dear earthlings, to get that cheap thrill
\nnothing is cheap about death, its so crude
\nto ambush wild souls in a way almost lewd
\ninnocence truly the hunters just scorn
\nliving in places, where they were born
\nwhere they were put by creation to be
\nnot to be ambushed and killed, but to see
\ntheir lives out together, and live off the land
\nwhich the 6% hunters just don’t understand
\nanimal earthlings do have their place
\nand slaughtering them is the truest disgrace
\nhumanity looks at this 6%, and
\nknows that in fact they are raping shared land
\nthe 6% hopefully will sometime soon
\nsee sense and appreciate under the moon
\nwe share, are the forests and in them the souls
\nwho must be allowed to live out life’s goals
\nfor each provides balance its what life’s about
