\nThats my Hazel staff
\nAn affinity with water
\nFrom ancient woodland
\nHalf <\/p>\n
as olde
\nAs One Methusela
\nMercury its deity
\nIts gender being masculine
\nRuled by the sun
\nWhere heat is free<\/p>\n
Good for wands
\nAnd divining
\nBefore the day be done
\nOf course in time immemorial
\nArtemis and Thor
\nAnti lightning
\nAnd protection
\nGood wishes evermore<\/p>\n
Fashioned by Tim the woodsman
\nNo idle fellow, He
\nThe power of Lonicera
\nThe HONEYSuckle be<\/p>\n
Also gender masculine
\nElement the earth
\nRuled by the planet Jupiter
\nPsychic power gives birth<\/p>\n
Grow it over the entrance door
\nTo keep fevers at bay
\nGood against the covid 19
\nNot something Hancock would say<\/p>\n
If only he had any sense
\nNot that robotic will
\nI love my staff
\nAnd its healing parf
\nWhere its filberts surely spill<\/p>\n
Taken with love and affection

\nHigh standing and honour
