A form of justification
\nOnes sins transferred we hear
\nTo the chicken its what some jews do
\nA ritual somI hear
\nOn the eve of Yon Kippur
\nFrom the Halachic rules
\nYou spin a live chicken around your head
\nAnd then kill it
\nAs it spills its blood
\nYour sins are transferred
\nTo the chicken as it dies
\nSeemingly a vile way
\nAnd to me its no surprise
\nThat sinner enjoy doing this
\nMurder is their game
\nThe chicken was always innocent
\nSo in fact its the same
\nOld story for the angels
\nDie and save those who
\nSin and carry out the act
\nThat what sinners do<\/p>\n
Kapporot they call it
\nChickens have to die
\nSo why not do this ritual
\nTell yourselves the lie
\nBecause your sins are greater
\nThe chicken takes your place
\nBetter to die for a good reason
\nFor what is your own disgrace<\/p>\n
Any flipping reason
\nTo kill to draw the blood
\nOf the innocent
\nCut their throat
\nAnd share their crimson blood
\nSacrificial rituals
\nNo matter who does agree
\nFor Abusing gods own children
