Humanites screwed so tightly these days
\nSome humans are profitting from the malaise
\nWith disasters and all sorts of alarms going on
\nWe see and we know that it us a big con
\nIn the world of the animals
\nThe rights and the rest
\nExecutives paying themselves
\nI detest
\nThe mutual indifferece
\nThe vulgarity
\nThe suffering out there
\nAnd impassivity<\/p>\n
Are they unconscious
\nThe loathsomeness here
\nit is intolerable
\nwhat I now hear
\nThe animals suffering
\nSo much abuse
\nHarshness and roughness
\nIts extreme and its loose
\nMillions being raised
\nTo help with relief
\nTo alleviate suffering
\nSolace and grief
\nBut what we are seeing
\nIs highly paid staff
\nHelping themselves
\nAnd having a laugh<\/p>\n
And the animals suffering
\nTragically they
\nBeing shipped from vile mills
\nConsigned so they say
\nTo rich destinations
\nAs rescue dogs when
\nThey are being imported
\nBy the evilest men<\/p>\n
And women alas flown in
\nWe see
\nHundreds and hundreds of shipments
\nThat be
\nalleged to be rescue
\nWhen actually they
\nAre coming from hell holes
\nAnd far far away
\nInfected animals
\nPaperwork signed
\nOff by the criminals
\nThe shipments maligned
\nValued at nothing
\nSo skipping the fees
\nEvading the entry
\nAnd costs if you please<\/p>\n
Put up for adoption
\nBy the angels so called
\nBut far from being angels
\nShipments have stalled
\nPurposefully packaged
\nSo badly they
\nAll arrived dead or dying
\nThey say
\nThere are so called animal rights
\nPeople who
\nAre paying themselves heaps of dough
\nBut they do
\nMake the dogs suffer
\nIts a trade off in grief
\nThe animals suffering
\nAnd the belief
\nWhere are their scruples
\nWhere is their care
\nPurporting to love
\nwhilst providing despair
\nPaying themselves in riches galore
\nDespite the real animal rights
\nWho are poor<\/p>\n
warriors out there doing their thing
\nCollecting the pennies trying to bring
\nComfort to real rescue animals who
\nWere picked off the street
\nTheir teardrops were true
\nAnd what we are experiencing
\nPlane loads of souls
\nRaised in some Mexican Puppy Mill
\nHoles
\nin the paper work
\nCrooks everywhere
\nMany dogs malnourished
\nAnd The money goes where<\/p>\n
To Executives pay
\nAnd off shore accounts
\nThe ugliness rampant
\nAll part of the bounce
\nBackwards and forwards
\nThe unseemly, the marred
\nWhist the animals suffer
\nSome arriving scarred<\/p>\n
The vetting of these staff
\nApparently poor
\nThe management at it
\nIts an internal war
\nOf attrition apparently
\nAnd fraudulently
\nThey blot out the good
\nWith their depravity
\nAnd animals dying
\nPut to the test
\nSo much desperation
\nWe hope for the best
\nWhen we donate our money
\nSign petitions and try
\nTo expect that the animals
\nThen can reply<\/p>\n
On some real life affection
\nNot mistrust and lies
\nIntimidation thats about the size
\nThe ill-considered the uncircumspect
\nAnd the consequences when anythings checked
\nThen the indiscretion and audacity
\nBecomes somewhat criminal it feels to me<\/p>\n
Those caught Unwilling to do what they say
\nIt really disgusts me So let them pay
\nThey need closing down and the money accrued
\nTaken away and their lifestyle pursued
\nIf brimming with countenance they have to be
\nDivested and soon for their temerity
\nEastern Europe and China and Mexico seem
\nWith no federal oversight To share the cream
\nThe Black Market breeders seemingly they
\nSign off the paperwork every day<\/p>\n
HSUS a hundred million they raise
\nBut its their executives
\nGetting the praise
\nAll sorts of scams
\nAll sorts of pain
\nBut little appetite
\nAnd much disdain
\nThreats every which way
\nArrestable guilt
\nSome of them making it
\nUp to the hilt<\/p>\n
Its a humbling resumee
\nI have to feel
\nIts inappropriate
\nRotten and wrong
\nit is discriminatory
\nThey do not belong
\nIts opportunism
\nAnd crookedness too
\nJust infidelty
