\nA splendid place
\nThe largest Natural reserve I hear
\nWhere many animals grace
\nBetween Bulawayo and the Victoria Falls
\nSo famous in a way
\nClose to Dete and the Kalahari
\nA Great Place to Spend a day<\/p>\n
Photographing wild life
\nAnd so to hear the news
\nThat China is wanting to mine there
\nBeginning to turn the screws
\nTowards some coal production
\nAFROCHINE we see
\nThe future feeling real bleak
\nFor the BIG Five
\nseemingly
\nThey all Must come in contact
\nIt\u2019s clearly going to be
\nConflict with the animals
\nSo that\u2019s bad ZIMBABWE<\/p>\n
Already elephants dying
\nBacteria they say
\nMining getting core samples
\nIt\u2019s frightening away
\nThe animals and sadly
\nThis mining venture will
\nBe bad for conservation
\nI can feel that chill<\/p>\n
Blowing through Hwange
\nAlready death comes fast
\nIf its not the poachers
\nPerhaps the die is cast
\nZimbabwe Getting greedy
\nOpening its park
\nConflicting with its animals
\nAnd leaving a mark<\/p>\n
China is out there flexing
\nIts muscles so to say
\nAnd the wild ones they are suffering
\nAlready they can play
\nA huge Part in the future
\nTourism will die
\nBeing gifted with wild animals
\nYou must ask yourselves why<\/p>\n
The big five
\nA colossal draw
\nWhy would you want to lose
\nWhy go over to mining
\nIn a park, that\u2019s awful news
\nChina is being arrogant
\nAnd evil if you ask me
\nThey need to now restrain themselves
\nAnd stop this infamy<\/p>\n
Land clearance and
\nRoad building
\nSurveys shouldn\u2019t be
\nCarving up the park
\nFor coal is so filthy
\nYour ministers to agree to this
\nPaints them in a way
\nThat shows really how hopeless
\nThey are, I have to say<\/p>\n
Pathogenic and infective
\nChemicals everywhere
\nFire and smoke
\nIt is no joke
\nYou must be more aware
\nWild animals and mining
\nWhat could now be worse
