\nPre-eminently beautiful
\nA wind span and a might
\nFor me a soul of beauty
\nA miracle to behold
\nAn integral part of Nature

Gifted by the gods in fact
\nEnjoying open space
\nBoundless in its gliding skills
\nAnd such a handsome face
\nRecently found poisoned
\nSo hard to comprehend
\nDoomed apparently
\nA slayer in the neighbourhood
\nWhose insanity must be
\nUnreasonably focused
\nTo a meddlesome degree<\/p>\n
These rogues have the conviction
\nThat the Cairngorms
\nIs a place
\nWhere blind faith and naivety
\nAre working at a pace
\nDespite a satellite collar
\nTheir mendacity is always working overtime
\nSuch that they can see
\nMoney with the shooters
\nThe old boys network where
\nIf they do away with predation
\nThere is more around to share<\/p>\n
The shooters they are heartless
\nNo empathy at all
\nIt\u2019s all hogwash and blarney
\nEveryone else is the fool
\nDupery and swindling
\nis the name of their game
\nCaring about wildlife

The wonderment of Nature

\nPredation in its balanced state

\nThe drama of existence
\nThe nobility of rank
\nThe unbroken line the lineage
\nJust affection to be frank<\/p>\n
So to see a white tailed eagle
\nCold and in lament
\nAn abhorrence and a loathing
\nFor all the time that\u2019s spent
\nNurturing the families
\nThe fraternal feeling we
\nHave for all the raptors
\nAnd the protection that is key<\/p>\n

\nYour helpfulness is sought
\nThe viciousness that\u2019s out there
\nThe callousness that\u2019s caught
\nUp in killing eagles
\nSo spiteful and so wrong
