\nIn an old teak forest
\nIn Vemsoor
\nIt feels to me
\nThe moroseness and the lack of pity
\nIntolerant evil men
\nHeartless and unrelenting
\nFor the bard to put his pen<\/p>\n
To create a fitting apology
\nFor a dear friend who was lost
\nThey can be no forgiveness
\nThe monkeys final cost
\nWas death, it\u2019s fear so evident
\nThe wrongness that I saw
\nSuch awful criminality
\nOn what was just a poor<\/p>\n
Helpless primate, who also
\nHad a heart and had a soul
\nWho suffered at your filthy hands
\nYou out of control
\nTo have gained so much irreverence
\nFor a creature of the wild
\nListening to the mockery
\nFor someone else\u2019s child<\/p>\n
It sicken me to realise
\nThere are people like you
\nWalking past me in The street
\nWho havent got a clue
\nThe miracle was that monkey
\nMade my gods fair hand
\nAnd you an unworthy human
\nI just don\u2019t understand<\/p>\n
Watching the monkey suffer
\nWith no way to get free
\nBig men with your rotten sticks
\nLaughing sadistically
\nIt was a heinous crime
\nJust So grossly Wrong
\nAnd one hopes you pay the ultimate price
