\nTaiyuan zoo in China
\nIs living with decay
\nConcrete walls just cells infact
\nIt\u2019s conditions dire
\nThey have loads of money
\nBut no spiritual fire<\/p>\n
Importing little elephants
\nTaken from their mama
\nThese are social beings
\nZimbabwe
\nWho you are you are challenging

\nThose babies shipped to TAiyuan
\nAll the way from Zimbabwe<\/p>\n

\n3 died on the way
\nPining for their mothers
\nFor enmity they Pay
\nLeaving their home in Africa
\nThe contradiction there
\nWhat was the disparity

Totally unsuitable
\nTo see a baby there
\nLanguishing in a concrete box

Mentally it\u2019s not easy
\nA vulnerability
\nSo much moral weakness

\nPowerless and deflated
\nBeing on ones own
\nHanging back and suffering

The distances we travelled
\nIn Africa back home
\nFollowing the matriarch
\nKnowing our leaders roam
\nMemorable connections
\nWhere the water was
\nThe family was the cornerstone
\nAnd really that\u2019s because<\/p>\n
Now a concrete cell
\nSo much uncertainty
\nSo much doubt and bafflement
\nAnd no guarantee
