Because we cannot
\nunderstand
\nthe language of the
\nanimals
\nthe pain inflicted
\non them we suppose
\nthey cannot feel
\nit may be our great get out
\nclause or maybe
\nwe don’t really care
\nwe still go ahead
\nand hurt them
\nand clearly their pain
\nis real<\/p>\n
factory farms are guilty
\nof some major torture methods
\nits all about a cheaper price
\nfor supermarkets who
\nwant to make a margin
\nbut still sell at cheaper prices
\nso cutting down procedures
\nis what they often do<\/p>\n
save the corporates money
\nbut the animals they use
\nthey have their testicles
\ntorn off
\nwith pliars
\nthey abuse
\nthese tiny little babies
\nthey chop their teeth
\nas well
\nand tear their tails off
\nmanually
\nthese butcher boys from Hell<\/p>\n
they bleed
\ntheir wounds get septic
\nthey suppurate
\nthey die
\nthey cry out
\nin such agony
\nbut no one asks them why
\nno one has the where for all
\nand they can’t tell us, they
\nare being bloody tortured
\nalmost all the day<\/p>\n
the workers
\nget insensitive
\nif they were not before
\nthey carry out this mundane
\nstuff
\nsmash piglets on the floor
\nand all the other horrid
\nthings that man is seen to do
\nan never with anaesthetic
\nits violence through and through<\/p>\n
the labourers and farm hands
\nfrustration sometimes will
\nsee them hurt the animals
\nand lots of blood they’ll spill
\nbut the animals cannot communicate
\nthey take what’s given out
\nthey bruise of course they bleed of course
\nof that there’s little doubt<\/p>\n
and what about consumers
\nwho walk into their store
\nsidle up to the counter
\nthe cuts of meat galore
\nhow the soul was treated
\nhow the soul was killed
\nwhether it was tortured
\nand cried when its blood was spilled
\nthey couldn’t care a monkeys
\nmost of them agree
\nthey buy what is the cheapest
\nand the cheapest has to be<\/p>\n
where they have cut the corners
\nand the animal has paid
\na ghastly price in agony
\nyou see them on parade
\nhanging shaking on the chains
\nthat take them to be killed
\nsome bastard with a knife of sorts
\nslits their throat,
\nand its spilled<\/p>\n
out their life’s blood everywhere
\nall over the butcher who
\nsomehow he can do this job
\nday in day out
\nfor you
\nincreasing his vile karma
\ntorturing his soul
\nso you can select your pristine tray
\nand sink deeper in your hole<\/p>\n
that animal was crying
\ninside every day
\nit was kicked and punched
\nand threatened
\neach hour, it knew dismay
\nand all because you wanted
\na cheaper cut when you
\nbought it from the market place
