The Corvid world wide Pandemic
\nHas curtailed the parks
\nAnd so
\nthe poachers
\nAnd illegal hunters
\nTragically the numbers grow
\nEco tourists are not coming
\nSo money there is tight
\nand sadly the National Parks
\nWere being neglected
\nAnd a fight
\ntherefore
\nAgainst the poachers
\nWho see this as a way
\nTo get into the animals
\nTo get bushmeat
\nSo they say<\/p>\n
Four of them were hunting
\nThey had ropes
\nand one a snare
\nand spears
\nAnd they were clearly
\nCausing
\nthe maximum despair<\/p>\n
RAfiki was a silver back
\nA male gorilla he
\nWas leader of his pack of 17
\nGorillas
\nThe Nkuringo pack a key
\nGroup in BwindiImpenetrable National Park
\nSince 2005
\nAnd The hunters disturbed his aura
\nAnd did not survive<\/p>\n
They said Rafiki charged them
\nAnd they were forced to spear
\nBut The facts are
\nthey should not have been hunting
\nThat much we know is clear
\nAs a leader he would charge them
\nFrightened that they would harm
\nHis group that was his role in life
\nThey caused the alarm<\/p>\n

\nclearly a leader In distress
\nAnd he is killed
\nWhen really they should
\nNot transgress
\nThe hunters alas guilty
\nAnd should be made to pay
\nA lifetime in the slammer
\nAnd a fine to pay.<\/p>\n
All the work that had been done
\nAll these years to make
\nAnd revitalise the silverbacks
\nFor everybody\u2019s sake
\nCould really now be wasted
\nThe group might break up they
\nHaving lost their leader
\nMay now all lose their way<\/p>\n
The spearing of a gorilla
\nCharged to protect his kin
\nStabbing him in the belly
\nReally these men of sin
\nThey have no leg to stand on
\nThey killed him Without thought
\nAnd being found with bush meat too
\nThat could be what they had sought<\/p>\n
They went into his jungle
\nWith Turmoil on their minds
\nCarrying spears they were hunting
\nReally behind the lines
\nAfter confrontation
\nOafs that should have known
\nAnd obviously Were ready to kill
\nAs now his death has shown<\/p>\n
Their powers of thought
\nAnd understanding
\nClearly shot away
\nAnd because they were so arrogant
\nRafiki died that day<\/p>\n
For me it\u2019s inexplicable
\nWith the corvid curfew they.
\nclearly Abused the lockdown
\nHoping to get their way
\nThe jungle was impenetrable
\nThey must have realised
\nThey\u2019d be face to face with Rafiki
\nAnd could just blow him away<\/p>\n
But they killed him
\nAnd they hid his body
\nHoping to get away
\nBut were picked up
\nand just spilt the beans
\nWhat else could they say<\/p>\n
I Don\u2019t believe a word they say
\nLock them up and throw
\nThe key into the jungle
\nBeing are the lowest of the low
\nThe colossal work could now have been wasted
\nSo much effort spent
