\nIn India today
\nAnother two elephants murdered
\nBy poisoning they say
\nElephants came to drink
\nAnd someone laced the pond
\nWith a deadly poison
\nWhere really is the bond<\/p>\n
Of care for the Gifted elephants
\nA pregnant lady too
\nDrinking for her infant
\nWrongness does ensue
\nNo shame just impropriety
\nWrongheadedness and guilt
\nGod given water poisoned
\nMore innocent blood was spilt<\/p>\n
India can hang its head
\nNews flys around the world
\nHow culpable how unfitting
\nThese poor souls were hurled
\nInto the sinful village
\nGaneshpur we hear
