She was laying in the rubble
\nRubbish all around
\nOne of her front legs
\nCompletely crushed
\nBy a bike
\nThat\u2019s what we found
\nOut
\nWith multiple fractures
\nAnd infection ride alas
\nWhen getting her back to hospital
\nReally there was a mass
\nOf infection
\nAnd thus surgery
\nWas the safest thing to do
\nWe sedated her and amputated
\nThe leg
\nOne of the few
\nShe so brave and calm
\nThroughout
\nAnd when she awoke we knew
\nShe would be more comfortable
\nWhich she was and has been all through<\/p>\n
Lots of sari love
\nfrom all our lady
\nAngels who
\nspend time with all
\nThe patients
\nFor love is what they do
\nWhen lowly and when lonely
\nAnd when injured to receive
\nCare and so much of it
\nIs how we all achieve<\/p>\n
Our goals
\nFor \u201cLittle Whisper\u201d
\nIs she Ate food straight away
\nNow of course She had three legs
\nBut her tail it wagged away
\nShe didn\u2019t have the pain Now
\nAnd the angel love was there
\nSo rapidly she did improve
\nAnd It just shows how care<\/p>\n
And that sense of security
\nThat assurance from us all
\nShe was on sure ground with us
\nAnd just loved to play ball
\nWith help she soon was able
\nTo manage on three legs
\nRest and play and love and care
\nHonestly it begs<\/p>\n
So much of the spirit
\nEncouraging her to be
\nAwake and ready to play
\nAnd life again well we could see
\nShe was really very happy
\nAnd dignified to be
\nAmong us while she ran about
\nIn what was harmony.<\/p>\n
