We steal into the wilderness
\nat a peril to us all
\nwe shoot, and kill its children
\nand as it does befall
\nit lays heavy on the hearts and minds
\nof all of us who care
\nwho realise this planet
\nis for all earthlings to share<\/p>\n
The wolf, a child of nature
\nwe should respect its stance
\nwildness is the keyword
\nand they run a merry dance
\nwith infamy and peril
\nbrought on by man, who feels
\nhe has the right to slaughter
\nalthough his heart reveals
\na love in fact for wilderness
\ndespite that, how he shares
\nis meaningfully apparent
\nin the darkest of his prayers<\/p>\n
He steals into the wilderness
\nhis blessings to proclaim
\nhe moves along the indigenous
\nfor them its one big game
\nthere’s oil, there’s gas
\nthere’s diamonds
\nany excuse that we
\ncan come up with
\nthere is Palm oil
\nits the new insanity
\nthey tear down trees
\ndam rivers, oh yes,
\nthats where they be
\nall knowing ever growing
\nthe latest almighty
\nthe masters of the universe
\nand the other earthlings, they
\ncan disappear forever
\nfor them,
\nits judgement day!<\/p>\n
Science and the Corporates
\nthe select, bunch of fiends
\nwho steal into our wilderness
\nworking behind the scenes
\nemploying puppet people
\nwho mime to good effect
\nand the rest of us dumbed rapidly
\nimagining, they elect
\nspokespeople, but the select bunch
\nhave agenda’s far and wide
\nthey steal into our being
\nbut in wilderness they hide
\nthe wilderness where earthlings
\nthe wilderness where few
\nwild ones live, where they were born
\nare doing what they always did
\nwhat they were born to do<\/p>\n
Its as well that you remember
\nthe Wolf now at your door
\nis not the apex predator
\nwith bright eyes and a fierce jaw
\nits a great big corporate entity
\na heartless bunch of fiends
\nwho are scheming in the wilderness
