in my compost heap palace<\/address>\n
and all this in spite<\/address>\n
of a meeting with Dawn<\/address>\n
in her midnight blue dress<\/address>\n
woven by elves<\/address>\n
the saga no less<\/address>\n
the magick<\/address>\n
the spells<\/address>\n
the wizard<\/address>\n
who knows<\/address>\n
his date with an angel<\/address>\n
whose lyrical prose<\/address>\n
\u00a0<\/address>\n
come \u00a0into the tunnel
\nAnd into my palace<\/address>\n
in front of the lawn<\/address>\n
Where \u00a0the great marble chalice
\na fox and a badger<\/address>\n
guards In the pay<\/address>\n
what I am good at is<\/address>\n
slipping \u00a0away<\/address>\n
rustling leaves on moist \u00a0nights<\/address>\n
at the sign<\/address>\n
of the Owl<\/address>\n
cheek \u00a0by jowl<\/address>\n
we all have our rights<\/address>\n

untidy gardens<\/address>\n
thick hedges we<\/address>\n
leave our five toe prints<\/address>\n
the footprint that be<\/address>\n
ours for the making<\/address>\n
fleabags \u00a0supreme<\/address>\n
nocturnal hunters<\/address>\n
who squeal and who scream<\/address>\n
just like a piglet<\/span><\/address>\n
With failing eye sight\u00a0<\/address>\n
We \u00a0are \u00a0easily \u00a0dazzled In\u00a0<\/address>\n
the torch light.<\/address>\n
\u00a0<\/address>\n
some have said long ago<\/address>\n
they sup milk from the cow<\/address>\n
who sleeps in the pastures\u00a0<\/address>\n
though many ask how<\/address>\n
it might be an old wives tale<\/address>\n
Or from a crone<\/address>\n
but in our hedgehog palace\u00a0<\/address>\n
you are never alone.<\/address>\n
\u00a0<\/address>\n
the spectre of \u00a0Brock<\/address>\n
with his guile \u00a0and his power<\/address>\n
the nocturnal sentinel<\/address>\n
who on the hour<\/address>\n
a gazer a gaper<\/address>\n
a watcher a keeper<\/address>\n
to some he\u2019\u2019s \u00a0a \u00a0parent<\/address>\n
to us \u00a0 The grim reaper<\/address>\n
\u00a0<\/address>\n
\u00a0<\/address>\n
\u00a0<\/address>\n
