Imagine at two years old<\/strong><\/address>\n
in Russian Arctic waters<\/address>\n
being \u00a0captured and sold to<\/address>\n
China to the
\nchangFeng \u00a0Ocean World<\/address>\n
the fear element in their hearts and souls<\/address>\n
Must \u00a0have been Just awful
\nto Shanghai\u00a0an Aquarium<\/address>\n
The poor young souls hurled<\/address>\n
\u00a0<\/address>\n
for\u00a0ten years being \u00a0Gawped \u00a0 at<\/span><\/address>\n
by hordes of Chinese \u00a0people<\/address>\n
in a giant tank no privacy at all<\/address>\n
beautiful Beluga\u2019s\u00a0<\/address>\n
their wildness obliterated
\nfrightened in their meagre sparseness<\/address>\n
up against a wall<\/address>\n
\u00a0<\/address>\n
ethereal and transparent<\/address>\n
a lifeless \u00a0world so soulless
\nof illusion and inanity<\/address>\n
a huge glass \u00a0bubble where<\/address>\n
repetition lifeless breathless<\/address>\n
disparity and intrusiveness<\/address>\n
was evidence creating<\/address>\n
a lifetime Of despair<\/address>\n
\u00a0<\/address>\n
Little grey and little white<\/address>\n
grew \u00a0bigger by the year<\/address>\n
at about 12 weighing 2000 pounds<\/address>\n
each \u00a0of them shared a tear<\/address>\n
\u00a0now about 13 foot long\u00a0<\/address>\n
not babies anymore<\/address>\n
And dreaming of \u00a0the arctic\u00a0<\/address>\n
and freedom to explore<\/address>\n
\u00a0<\/address>\n
\u00a0The Sea Life \u00a0Trust
\nand the WDC<\/address>\n
got together with others<\/address>\n
to see if they could be<\/address>\n
saviours in the life of these\u00a0<\/address>\n
two beautiful Beluga Whales<\/address>\n
with lots of negotiation<\/address>\n
all that\u2019s gone before<\/address>\n
it pales<\/address>\n
into a meeting of angels<\/address>\n
and a journey<\/address>\n
to \u00a0Iceland where\u00a0<\/address>\n
a netted \u00a0arctic sanctuary<\/address>\n
the two of them could share<\/address>\n
\u00a0<\/address>\n
so many \u00a0formalities<\/address>\n
headaches on all sides<\/address>\n
a constancy of purpose<\/address>\n
a confluence of strides<\/address>\n
ANd both were on a 747<\/address>\n
bound for KEFLAVIK<\/address>\n
6000 miles \u00a0of travel<\/address>\n
HEIMAEY \u00a0WESTMAN ISLANDS<\/address>\n
the south coast of Iceland\u00a0<\/address>\n
they did pick<\/address>\n
\u00a0<\/address>\n
an open water sanctuary<\/address>\n
No gawping anymore<\/span><\/address>\n
no illusionary bubbles<\/address>\n
true wildness for sure<\/address>\n
Having \u00a0Been \u00a0Captured \u00a0by the Russians<\/address>\n
Sold too the \u00a0chinese<\/address>\n
the British had bought the aquarium<\/address>\n
And \u00a0NOW \u00a0Iceland\u00a0<\/address>\n
if \u00a0you please<\/address>\n
had agreed to be a sanctuary<\/address>\n
where they could once again<\/address>\n
enjoy a semi wild state<\/address>\n
and again attain<\/address>\n
some joyfulnes \u00a0and freedom<\/address>\n
and \u00a0happiness \u00a0there too<\/address>\n
in this icelandic \u00a0 paradise<\/address>\n
Where beluga\u2019s dreams come true.<\/address>\n

\u00a0<\/address>\n

\u00a0<\/address>\n
