\nand it without more ado
\nits quickly sold
\npromising them 2 years wages
\nin one night
\nchain saw butchers
\nslaughter the defenceless
\nthere’s no fight
\ndarted from the air
\nhelicopters come
\nbut many turn their head away
\nthey know it
\nthey stay dumb
\nthe Government’s complicit
\nand politicians to
\nimplicated in this trail of evil

\nand so savagely at least

its just all about money

\nand the Rhino is a victim

\nthe poachers come and slaughter
\nand many get away
\ndespite the several killings
\ndespite the DNA
\ndespite the army on the case
\nmoney proves the way
\npalms are greased
\nand those on high
\ncannot see the wheat
\ntoo busy sorting through the chaff
\nand feeling quite replete
\nGovernments around the world
\nmust ban the use today
\nof animals parts of any kind
\nin medicines, and say
\nanyone caught selling animal parts
\nwill face the wrath
\nand if convicted the death sentence
