\nOf making tigers humanised
\nTemerity and presumption
\nOur arrogance should be criticised
\nFor zoos and films and entertainment
\nTigers are a dangerous act
\nRapidly wasted in the wild

Roadside zoos in Florida
\nA HELL on earth alas
\nThey are really vulnerable

Our cruelty is awful

\nThese marvellous living souls
\nBeing snatched And beaten up
\nTo live within controls<\/p>\n
Chains around their neck so tight
\nThey cannot walk at all
\nCubs removed from their mothers
\nTheir god given school
\nOf learning stolen dubiously
\nTo experience torture and
\nTo suffer stress and pain from it
\nRight across the land<\/p>\n
Dade City seems to be a place
\nWhere wild tigers get the boot
\nThe authorities seem improper
\nKept in disrepute
\nNo respect whatsoever
\nTortured night and day
\nWhere is our humility
\nWhy can\u2019t we find a way<\/p>\n
We support those places
\nThe films the zoos why we
\nlet them get away with shit
\nWhy does it have to be
\nOur brashness and our blatancy
\nWatching wild souls die
\nChained so tightly around their necks
\nThe contempt we do belie<\/p>\n
Their freedom to be tigers
\nChained up in this way
\nSo we can earn from stupid tourists
\nWho assist and will not say
\nWhy are they being so damn cruel
\nNo they go along
\nWith torture and with shortening lives
\nThat really do belong<\/p>\n
In jungles in the suderabans
\nIn India far Way
\nNot in these mean vile places
\nWhere the living soon decay
\nThe antipathy And loathing
\nThe evil of new man
\nWhose heart is wizened Like his brain
