A gal I met again
\nher bijou, it became for me
\nan interlude of caring
\nfor there, I just could be
\nsharing thoughts
\nand hoping
\nmy hands had pained me so
\nthe softness and the tenderness
\nand that wondrous too and fro<\/p>\n
the battle did feel over
\nAshridge, took on its role
\nDeers came by and glanced at me
\nthe leaves of Autumn’s soul
\nof course the rain fell heavily
\nMy Goddess though was there
\nthere to help me up as I fell
\nheadlong,and unaware<\/p>\n
my poetical ambitions took
\non a trail of woe
\nthe Earthlings needed help
\nand many words, began to flow
\nI wanted so much to impress
\nthe lass from long ago
\nwho I had loved profoundly
\nthough she had been forced to go<\/p>\n
an ending there was never
\nan ending not
\nfor me
\nI loved her and will love her
\nfor all eternity
\nthe sea can sometimes look serene
\nand send its surf to blight
\nout of pale clouds
\nthunderbolts can fire down
\non a quiet night<\/p>\n
a kiss just one sweet kiss
\ncould so remind me of those days
\nthose heady times of blossom
\nand ofcourse a maidens praise
\na wish ah! such a wish
\nis not conceivable may be
\nbut a few more years of travel
\nwith my darling
\nfrom the C
\nshe might be a sea soul
\nand her shell crown she might wear
\nwith her cape of pure luxuriance
