{"id":45380,"date":"2020-04-11T22:28:02","date_gmt":"2020-04-11T22:28:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/?p=45380"},"modified":"2020-04-11T22:41:11","modified_gmt":"2020-04-11T22:41:11","slug":"japan-at-the-crossroads","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/2020\/04\/japan-at-the-crossroads\/","title":{"rendered":"Japan at the crossroads"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Is it lack of intelligence<br \/>\nOr vacuousness that Japan<br \/>\nIs going through now<br \/>\nHuge dead flesh eating<br \/>\nCountry knowing what it does<br \/>\nThe environmental impact<br \/>\nIs terrible the buzz<br \/>\nin cities<br \/>\nThat of cellular Agriculture<br \/>\nAnd<br \/>\nThat would save colossal amounts<br \/>\nOf methane from the land<\/p>\n<p>14.5 per cent the gas emission they<br \/>\nPollute this world by eating dead flesh<br \/>\nSo the people pay<br \/>\nMeat has overtaken fish<br \/>\nThough to see the nets still caught<br \/>\nAnd the dolphins and the porpoise<br \/>\nand the whales<br \/>\nThat they have sought<\/p>\n<p>A nation of aggression hard nosed<br \/>\nI can say<br \/>\nVery few real vegans<br \/>\nWill admit to it today<br \/>\nMAy be 6 per cent<br \/>\nNon existent actually<br \/>\nLab grown cultured dead flesh<br \/>\nOr meat<br \/>\nSome now hope to see<\/p>\n<p>The keeping of live animals<br \/>\nIs a cruel and nasty trade<br \/>\nComputerised and unnatural<br \/>\nUpon our shoulders laid<br \/>\nAnimals stolen from the land<br \/>\nFrom the light of day<br \/>\nare stuck in prison all their short lives<br \/>\nUntil they pass Way<br \/>\nOr I should say until they are<br \/>\nMurdered<br \/>\nThroats cut hung and drawn<br \/>\nMothers babies fathers<br \/>\nSorry to see you yawn<\/p>\n<p>The wild must see the empathy<br \/>\nOf death before their time<br \/>\nZen or godly circumstance<br \/>\nTo understand the climb<br \/>\nUpwards in the numbers<br \/>\nOf torture and suffering<br \/>\nNow grown on a culture medium<br \/>\nWhat\u2019s that going to  bring<\/p>\n<p>To the Japanese table<br \/>\nReally anything<br \/>\nSurely there will be a land mass<br \/>\nTo recover to rewild<br \/>\nAnd there will be a less methane<br \/>\nLoss yes Less that\u2019s defiled<br \/>\nHopefully a reduction<br \/>\nOn the ocean and the land<br \/>\nFor the capturing dead flesh targets<br \/>\nWhich truthfully when planned<br \/>\nCould make a significant difference<br \/>\nA healthier diet too<br \/>\nkarmically more peaceful<br \/>\nAnd much better for you<\/p>\n<p>Go over to more organic growth<br \/>\nLess pesticides around<br \/>\nBetter for the environment<br \/>\nAnd the workers too have found<br \/>\nMore balance much more taste<br \/>\nAnd nutrition too<br \/>\nAnd really sound and seasonable meals<br \/>\nPerhaps a dream come True<\/p>\n<p>Lab grown foie gras<br \/>\nApparently is possible I hear<br \/>\nImagine all those frantic ducks and geese who live in fear<br \/>\nForce fed every which way<br \/>\nAnd tortured till they die<br \/>\nStabbed in their sore throats<br \/>\nBy a farmer which is why<br \/>\nFoie gras is abominable<br \/>\nTorture all the way<br \/>\nDucks and geese that scream at night<br \/>\nThey are made to pay<\/p>\n<p>Terribly,<br \/>\ntheir sad lives<br \/>\nTorn away by those<br \/>\nSnobs and the wretched ignorant<br \/>\nWho really do expose<br \/>\nThe innocent to torture<br \/>\nSuch improbity<br \/>\nIt\u2019s unscrupulous<br \/>\nAnd villainous<br \/>\nAnd sickening roguery<\/p>\n<p>Frankenstein flesh<br \/>\nIt be a thing as a vegan<br \/>\nI would not<br \/>\nIndulge in doctored evil<br \/>\nTo put this in a pot<br \/>\nAnd ever call it vegan<br \/>\nA misnomer if you ask me<br \/>\nFrankenstein flesh<br \/>\nIt looks like Andy<br \/>\nmust never be<\/p>\n<p>All sorts of  Names<br \/>\nAre being thought about<br \/>\nThe balance wrong<br \/>\nIt will save land<br \/>\nIt will save gas emissions<br \/>\nDoes it belong<br \/>\nIt will save torture and cruelty<br \/>\nAnd slaughterhouses too<br \/>\nAnd blood and guts and carnage<br \/>\nAll of that is true<\/p>\n<p>But the power of thought<br \/>\nAnd arrogance and ignorance<br \/>\nSadly<br \/>\nTwo areas to think about<br \/>\nTogether they are key<br \/>\nWorse than cancer coupled<br \/>\nWith cruelty and more<br \/>\nWith acumen and sharpness<br \/>\nand enlightenment for sure<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Is it lack of intelligence Or vacuousness that Japan Is going through now Huge dead flesh eating Country knowing what it does The environmental impact Is terrible the buzz in cities That of cellular Agriculture And That would save colossal &hellip;
