Perhaps the most pleasant
\nof afternoons
\nI put on my blue dress and go
\nOut for a walk in the forest
\nAnd the fields all about
\nThat I know
\nA radiant sun will be smiling
\nWith the bluest of skies
\nUp above
\nThe light has a brilliance
\nSuch clarity everywhere
\nThese are the days that I love<\/p>\n
and my blue dress is flowing and
\nJust feels sublime
\nIt was raining last night
\nAnd the grass
\nit is soft and its pliable
\nUnder my feet
\nTo be part of this world
\nIt\u2019s first class<\/p>\n
On a beautiful day
\nJust perhaps to sit down
\nOn a tree stump
\nAnd just dream awhile
\nIn this blue dress I walk
\nNow many a mile
\nThinking and hearing
\nThe bird song and sighs
\nWatching the butterflies
\nComing to sip
\nOn the floral nosegays of
\nallies<\/p>\n
The magick is with me
\neach moment
\nThe scurrying rodents
\nhave shown
\n\u201cHello Mrs Mouse I like your new house
\nAnd goodness your children have grown\u201d
\nThe matter of living is purposeful
\nThe dragonflies iridescent display
\nMelting away in some sunny retreat
\nIn what is a real Easter Day
\n\u201cI wish we had more rights I tell you\u201d
\nSaid old Mr Rabbit for he
\nHad run up the hill at quite a speed
\nWanting he said to greet me\u201d
\nHe knows me the lass with the Blue Dress
\nThe magickal lady who comes
\nFrom the great human world
\nin the distance
\nWith her eight fingers
\nand her 2 thumbs<\/p>\n
There\u2019s a silence that\u2019s obvious
\non this old path
\nTo this place
\nand I\u2019m sitting here now
\nI can hear very clearly
\nA bird or two
\nand they chatter
\nBut goodness knows how
\nclearly their playing at
\nWildness
\nIt is a joyful pursuit
\nIt\u2019s good to be
\nin amongst the wild souls
\nToday
\nFor close by
\nthere are families of coot
\nOld Mr Nibbles of Leporidae
\nhas come into the woods
\nWith an eye
\nOut for his favourite wild foods
\nAnd weed
\nLooking around the dappled lit glades
\nHoping that he will succeed<\/p>\n
The house arrest programme
\nIs well under way
\nBut no genuine factor for those
\nAnimal buddies who live in the forest
\nLiving here is where they all chose
\nA family of rabbits
\nLives down by the oak
\nCasting shadows from a great height
\nDown to The forest floor
\nA detached Warren
\nAlways lit up by moonlight.<\/p>\n
What is more
\nMagical, than those pale streams
\nA great book of shadows
\nOf everyone\u2019s dreams
\nOf all of those colours each particular hue
\nThe music of nature
\nA tiny wee Shrew
\n\u201chello Mrs shrew
\nSo how do you do\u201d
\nA leveret dancing
\nA big red deer prancing
\nA wild badger chancing
\nWith So much accord
\nMy blue dress is magickal
\nits my reward<\/p>\n
For I never see people
\nWhen I \u2018m in my blue dress
\nOut in the forest
\nTransported away
\nOut of focus apparently
\nTo human eyes
\nBut all of gods creatures.
\nAll seemingly wise<\/p>\n
All say they see me
\nBut Where would I go
\nWhen Their eyes and their hearts
\nAnd their minds Love me so
\nAnd all this takes thoughtfulness
\nSuch cerebration
\ntalking to animals
\nIs my salvation<\/p>\n
Sometimes with our eyes
\nsometimes with our mind
\nWith our hearts with our souls
\nWe truly can find
\nA logical process
\nA heavenly way
\nTo a land of of pure magic
