Dreaming of Bournmouth
\nThe sun and the sea
\nThe air on ones face
\nIt\u2019s just the place to be
\nJenny\u2019s not been there
\nBut it is a nice place
\nAnd when lockdown is over
\nShe might be on the case<\/p>\n
Today we hear Jenny.
\nat the window
\nShe stood.
\nand the veg box came winging its way
\nIt looked good
\nA wave from our Jenny
\nAnd they went on their way.
\nDelivering boxes to others
\nToday<\/p>\n
She couldn\u2019t sleep
\nNot a wink so I hear
\nDreaming of geology
\nThat was crystal clear
\nNormally too complex a subject
\nLike these
\nWould stump her
\nBut lockdowns
\nHad helped her to breeze
\nThrough the subject so easily
\nAnd she felt right
\nSo That was the subject
\nShe studied all night<\/p>\n
Drawing from seed
\nA so gentle way
\nOf studying nature
\nAnd watching it play
\nWith the season and light
\nAnd with water as well
\nOne little seed
\nSomebody did sell<\/p>\n
She get a green sprout
\nWhat would it be
\nA flower or a herb
\nMiraculously
\nJenny just pushed it
\nInto the earth
\nAnd in weeks
\nThe wee seed
\nHad given birth<\/p>\n
Then on the page
\nWas \u201ccroaker\u201d the frog
\nWe could all hear his dulcet tones
\nHim sat in his bog
\nWhat he was shouting
\nWas apparently great
\nFor he was looking
\nFor a pretty frog mate
\nSo singing his Arias
\nAt the top of his voice
\nGiving the ladies around
\nExtra choice<\/p>\n
He had studied in Italy
\nAnd like to sing
\nVerdi and Puccini
\nWhich helped him to bring
\nCulture to the pond side
\nThat\u2019s what we hear
\nAnd that\u2019s why the poem
\nToday does appear<\/p>\n
