Connectedness apparent
\nA kinship one can feel
\nA really strong identity
\nWith lots of keen appeal
\nA pair of wood pigeons
\nClearly him and her
\nBut she clearly wears the trousers

\nOften I wonder what they are thinking

\nAs to what they really up to
\nAll these great high towers

\nHow serious life has become
\nThe radiation buzzing
\nleaving so many numb
\nSickly anywhere near them
\nAnd on top of the lamp posts too
\nCrackling sounding gadgets
\nWhat do they all do<\/p>\n
And where have all the cars gone
\nNot many two legs about
\nThe cars are not being driven much
\nAnd not many are going out
\nIt\u2019s as if the are under house arrest
\nIn Prisons everywhere
\nThere is less pollution
\nBut we just wonder where<\/p>\n
And why they sit at home
\nAnd do not venture into the street
\nMostly it\u2019s just delivery trucks
\nOr people seem more discreet
\nVery few people are talking
\nSomething is just not right.
\nAnd down the town all the shops are closed
\nAnd nothing is open at night<\/p>\n
They are not even out in their gardens
\nApparently locked in the house
\nThe spiders are saying it seems it\u2019s
\nspring cleaning
\nAnd, we have heard every mouse
\nWho lives in the garage or kitchen
\nThe people are home all the time
\nMuch fewer crumbs being left on the floor
