I am rather broken
\nand do look my age
\nHaving withstood the winds
\nWho came at me with rage
\nBut Viburnam and Jasmine
\nThey do
\nBolster me
\nAnd help me regain
\nThe spirit to be
\nEarnest and willing
\nTo Strengthen my grip
\nAs they dance all around me
\nI am able to sip
\nNectar and richness
\nRemnants of how
\nWhen I was much younger
\nThan I am now<\/p>\n
Parts of the jasmine wood
\nNow strengthens me
\nIt\u2019s twisted and tousled
\nAnd acts as a key
\nTo holding my lattice
\nTogether a while
\nLonger
\nto help me
\nJust to reconcile<\/p>\n
A beautiful morning
\nIn April it be
\nThe bluest of skies
\nAnd a light breeze
\nSo free
\nA wood pigeon a magpie
\nRelax on the Beech
\nIt\u2019s Lacey branches
\nAre just out of reach<\/p>\n
There\u2019s a Rosemary spreading
\nWith branch tops of green
\nWith the subtlest lilac flowers
\nI\u2019ve ever seen
\nA study of flourishing joy in a way
\nAt the tops of what are the aroma display
\nAt my feet a wild panoply
\nRich golden clocks
\nDandelion blossoms
\nChickweed tick tock\u2019s
\nNettles and docks plantain and grass
\nAll healing wildness
\nSeen through the glass<\/p>\n
Of my study in lockdown
\nFascinated by light
\nLongfellow mentioned the plantain
\nIn sight
\nof his eyes
\nOne can know
\nOne can feel
\nOne can care
\nTo be well and to sit
