Insufficient evidence
\nThat\u2019s the judgement here
\nA lack of understanding
\nOf the foresight and the fear
\nWe who are the wild ones
\nBirds and mammals we
\nWill suffer as life gets tougher
\nThan we every hoped it could be<\/p>\n
An ancient forest packed with
\nDisenchantment at the thought
\nOf centuries of history
\nAnd all our homes now caught
\nUp in the insufficient reason
\nSo to say
\nThousands of little homes destroyed
\nSo many of us pay<\/p>\n
The piper his poor music
\nThe violent the chain saw
\nThe axe the evil rumbling
\nThe crashing on the floor
\nOf millions of our insect friends
\nOf the bat roosts often high
\nOf the birds of many a feather
\nUp there in the sky<\/p>\n
These days judicial laggards
\nExist now everywhere
\nWhere is the imagination
\nWe know where the despair
\nIs we hear the thunder
\nThe screams the cries the sounds
\nOf tranquillity now blanked out
\nBy the evil that abounds<\/p>\n
It\u2019s biblical the pain we feel
\nThe unleashing of such stress
\nThe insanity of all of this
\nThe law doesn\u2019t care a less
\nWords were meant to create and sing
\nNot speak drivel like today
\nThe jargon and the gibberish
\nThat clearly is in play<\/p>\n
Our warrior friends up trees tonight
\nThose humans those who know
\nChris Packham and his merry troop
\nIn our dear hearts doth grow
\nAnd our respect is with them
\nFor all chose to do
\nHe interprets and deciphers

Tearing down a forest
\nOnce an ancestral grove

\nDid her thing
\nImproved and built on the ground itself

\nThat have tried to bring
\nFertility and oxygen
