I am really very fortunate
\nBlessedness is how
\nLiving with the Hambidges
\nDespite the lockdown now
\nThey are the perfect family
\nAnd I am well pleased living there
\nThe garden and the countryside
\nFor all of it they share
\nAncestrally we came from Tibet
\nIn the mountains far away
\nLots of snow and wild wild winds
\nIn the monasteries we stay
\nI am known as a lion dog
\nA shi zu
\nQuite the soul
\nThriving on companionship.
\nAnd in a family role<\/p>\n
As dogs go I am little
\nNo weight to speak of, I
\nStill so love the countryside
\nAnd a clear blue sky
\nWith family I am joyful
\nNeglected I cannot be
\nThat\u2019s when I will bark my head off
\nWhen the family I can\u2019t see<\/p>\n
But I am very adaptable
\nIt doesn\u2019t matter where
\nUp in the Tibetan mountains
\nOr a shepherds hut in Ware
\nI love it where I am Living now
\nWith the crystals and candles and things
\nMy lady is a Druid
\nAnd so much love she brings
\nInto our equation
\nEvery single day
\nPeople think I am high maintenance
\nBut Grooming doesn\u2019t get in the way<\/p>\n
My hair grows fast and wavy
\nAnd can go down to the ground
\nA regular trim is what I get
\nAnd such patience I have found
\nFrom Dawn she cares
\nDay in day out
\nI am just family
\nAnd that is what I am all about
\nIt\u2019s euphoric actually<\/p>\n
The garden all the flowers
\nShe grows
\nThe wild plants that she picks
\nLoves to take her photographs
\nOut there in the sticks
\nIt\u2019s good I am energetic
\nand social by nature too
\nBecause I found the perfect family
\nAnd promise you that\u2019s true.<\/p>\n
I learn a lot from Dawn I do
\nShe talks to me she does
\nYou see she knows I comprehend
\nWhich does give me that buzz
\nThat real respect, that honour
\nOf being her friend
\nShe\u2019s compassionate and caring
\nAnd in her world she does defend
\nMe, her canine warrior from very far away
\nShe gives me some credence
\nIn a moral way
\nThe luxury of living
\nIn the Hambidge family
\nWallowing in their loving
\nMeans everything to me<\/p>\n
Sometimes I go to grannies
\nNear the Roll Right stones
\nAll those fields to chipping
\nSo many different tones
\nThe neolithic aura
\nAnd all those mole hills too
\nI love the smells I get up there
\nSo much up there on view<\/p>\n
It\u2019s where our Dawn does ritual
\nIn a circle she
\nIs part of the robed ones
\nIt\u2019s where she likes to be
\nI hold her in high standing
\nFor her veneration she
\nIt doesn\u2019t matter who she meets
\nI know that she loves me<\/p>\n
And so I do feel comfortable
\nHappy as I can be
\nSometimes I tell Anubis
\nHow the family
\nAlways does the proper thing
\nIs dutiful and kind
\nShe just loves her garden
\nIt\u2019s where she can unwind
\nToday some crystal healing
\nAnd she wore her new blue dress
\nAnd looked a proper picture
