So much thoughtlessness
\nprevailing
\nIn our world today
\nAs far as the sea turtles

A huge price for existence

\nand polluted world
\nSo much crap and litter

\nand we have hurled,<\/p>\n
Stuff off bridges river banks
\nAnd so much ends in the sea
\nAnd that affects the sea life
\nAnd the turtle frighteningly<\/p>\n
We all have seen the turtles
\nComing back to lay
\nTheir precious eggs
\nwhere they were born
\nAnd hatched the other day<\/p>\n
To them perhaps many years
\nBut each year they return
\nStruggle up the ever filthy beaches
\nTheir concern,<\/p>\n
To continue having families
\nAnd so therein they lay
\nAnd man the great and arrogant
\nIs after them right away<\/p>\n
So collecting wild eggs
\nMeans of course
\na death sentence for each egg
\nAll that struggle all that fight
\nEvery exhausted leg
\nand heart
\nIs spent on digging and burying
\nAnd returning
\nAnd man is there to steal them all
\nWhich is very concerning<\/p>\n
Then of course of commercial fishing
\nLong lines, gill nets,trawling
\nDrifting, Seine nets more and more and all of
\nIt\u2019s appalling<\/p>\n
How so many turtles are murdered in this way
\nAnd sold off to the Asian Markets
\nWho are exhausting markets
\nEvery single day<\/p>\n
Then coastal development
\nBeaches carved about
\nAnd all the crap we leave about
\nReally there is no doubt<\/p>\n
All these massive cruise ships
\nDumping every day
\nAll that shit and plastic crap
\nIt just gets in the way<\/p>\n
Of every living land based soul
\nAnd turtles suffer so
\nThe Asian market for turtle flesh
\nAnd turtle shells does grow<\/p>\n
Using is abusing,
\nturtles when we call
\nFor special combs
\nfor spectacle frames
\nAnd guitar picks each fool<\/p>\n
Who wants and buys such items
\nHere is my thought for you
