\nWhere a magpie and a pigeon sits

A mature bush of protection
\nthe rosemary evergreen
\nWith lilac spangles all aglow
\nWhere Sylphs are often seen
\nIn the cool light of the morning
\nActually close to Dawn
\na busy time for fairies
\nWhen blessings are often borne
\nOnto the world from a great height
\nAn awakening for all
\ninfrequently a human and a dog
\nPass by my wall
\nA flash of sweat and draw string pants
\nSo more wild souls on view
\nA blackbird and a sparrow
\nA squirrel on the fence
\nAnd I haven\u2019t even moved an inch
\nMy gaze makes so much sense
\nThere\u2019s mallow chickweed and plantain
\nAnd stinging nettles too
\nAll of them I\u2019m going to eat
\nnutritiously they do
\nPromise a wild and balanced lunch
\nWith Some flat bread That Ive made
\nAn inch or two of hummus
\nAnd some Home made lemonade.
\nI am isolating quietly
\nThe muse of course in me
\nReally working overtime
\nIt\u2019s lovely just to be
\nWinding back from stressing
\nAbout lock down And all that
